For the special occasion of the official Geneva Watch Days dinner, Phillips, in association with Bacs & Russo, among other brands and attending partners, will hold a private auction, where all proceeds will be donated to the École d’Horlogerie de Genève [Geneva’s School of Watchmaking]. The event is scheduled for the 30th of August.
“The job market in our sector is currently cramped – finding a good watchmaker can be a challenge. We felt it was important to make a symbolic commitment to ensure that this profession continues to flourish,” said Antoine Pin, President of the Geneva Watch Days Association and Director of Bulgari Watches.
“Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo is thrilled and honoured to host this auction voluntarily, a collective effort that exemplifies the watchmaking community’s dedication to nurturing the art of watchmaking. Through the generosity of the participating brands and partners of Geneva Watch Days, we come together to support the École d’Horlogerie de Genève, enabling aspiring watchmakers to embark on a journey destined for excellence” added Aurel Bacs, the event’s auctioneer.
